Network Rail yellow-liveried Class 31 No. 31233 had failed after allocation to the 10:34 Crewe to Derby RTC test train and so DRS Class 37/4 No. 37405, which had just worked to Crewe from Derby for an exam, rescued this working, which is seen passing Tutbury and Hatton Station on 25th September 2014 with the errant No. 31233 dead-in-train. DBSO No. 9708 was at the rear of the train, and the Network Rail coaches were No. 977986 No. 977985, and No. 62384.
