The confluence of the Hinterhein and Vorderhein Rivers is crossed by RhB Class Ge4/4 No. 623 on a log train bound for Italy via the Albula Mainline and the Bernina Line at Reichenau-Tamins on 7th June 1989. The 2 rivers meet head on at this point and then flow off to the lefthand side of the picture as the River Rhine at the start of its long journey to the North Sea.
