Ex-GWR Pannier tank No. 9792 stands forlorn at the rear of NCB Mardy Colliery shed on 26th February 1973. Having served its entire British Railways working life at Neath MPD (87A), it was withdrawn in March 1964 and sold for colliery use. It failed to enter preservation and was scrapped later that year.
