As can be seen the preserved signalbox at the Hartington Station site on the Tissington trail (from Ashbourne to Parsley Hay) is being kept in very good condition and is well worth a visit when open on Summer weekends as the levers and working instruments can be viewed along with many photographs and information of the operational days of the line. Nearby is also a typical and complete permanent way hut, surrounded by L&NRW cast boundary posts.
