Railway Herald
Class 31/4 No. 31465 stored at Old Oak Common on 5th August 2000. Delivered new as No. D5637 at 30A Stratford on 28th July 1960, under TOPS became 31213 in March 1974, and underwent conversion to a Class 31/4 on 24th February 1985. The 31 was numbered to Class 31/5 No. 31565 from 17th August 1990 until 7th February 1993 when it reverted back to No. 31465. Finally withdrawn on 16th February 1999, it was stored at Old Oak Common until moved to Meldon Quarry on 23rd February 2006. The locomotive is now operated by Network Rail on test trains.
