On 3rd October 2003, at Low Gill, Class 66/0 No. 66036 passes with 6X38, a Washwood Heath-Bathgate car train. Part of the train had caught fire at Oxenholme about 01:30 that morn . Remainder of train passed this location at 11:10. In 2014 this loco plies its trade on Mainland Europe.
