Class 37/0 Nos. 37040 & 37174 cross the river Gipping between Ipswich Upper and Lower yards on 12th September 1998 with 6L90 Tunstead - Ipswich limestone for the nearby Sugar factory at Sproughton. The train was running four hours late. 37040 was new as D6740 at 50B Hull Dairycoates on 1st June 1962 and was withdrawn on 23rd October 2001 at CRDC Springs Branch, Wigan. She was moved to C.F.Booth, Rotherham on 16th July 2005 and finally scrapped by 22nd April 2006.
