Class 37 passenger haulage took to the West Highland Line on 22nd June 2013, with the annual Three Peaks Challenge By Rail charter. Carrying participants fresh from the descent of Ben Nevis, the tour was en route back to London Euston having originated there two days previously and visiting Bangor for Snowdon and Ravenglass for Scafell Pike. Hauling the train through the Monessie Gorge are Direct Rail Services Class 37s Nos. 37608 and 37259.
