Day 1 of the 'Cathedrals Express to Scotland' railtour from King's Cross to Perth was headed by Gresley A4 Class Pacific No. 60009 'Union of South Africa' from York where it had taken over from classmate 'Bittern' approximately 30 minutes behind schedule. In fading light it nears Linlithgow 90 minutes late on 14th June 2013 .
