The very high running plate and the massive bracket supporting the reversing mechanism were two of the obvious differences between the LMS Ivatt Mogul Class 4MT and more traditional British locomotives. Affectionately known as the 'Flying Pig', the sole surviving class member No. 43106 is pictured at Bridgnorth on 26th June 2010.
