Northern Rail Class 150 No. 150144 passes Ashton Moss North Junction on the 07:16 Liverpool Lime Street - Huddersfield service on the morning on Monday 8th April 2013. This semaphore-signalled location will be transformed with the Northern Hub electrification already evident west of Manchester. Trailing in the the south is the former GC (OA&GB) line from Guide Bridge, the overhead masts having once supported the 1500V dc MSW electrification.
