Now a private residence, the former Denver Station in Norfolk maintains its heritage by displaying this marvellous example of the crest of the Great Eastern Railway, seen here on 2nd April 2013. The crests on the coat of arms are those of the counties and county boroughs served by the GER: Essex, Maldon, Ipswich, Norwich, Huntingdonshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire. In the middle, is the crest of the City of London, featuring the cross of St George and the sword of St Paul.
