Ex japanese Railways built circa 1936 Mogul No. 702. stands just beyond Namtok Station which is the end of the line from Kanchanaburi and Bangkok. This line was the infamous line built by the Japanese utilising Australian & British POWs and many others. The men who died and suffered building the line are remembered just a few miles away, at the excellent Hellfire Pass Museum, on 19th January 2013.
