GCR O4 2-8-0 No. 63601, seen making an energetic departure from Loughborough Central on 9th October 2004, bowed out of service at the Great Central Railway in 2012 at the end of its extended 10 year ticket. No. 63601 now awaits its turn in the boiler overhaul queue at the GCR, as well as significant work on its firebox.
