Many of the Northern Rail operated units carry advertising liveries. Class 158784 named Barbara Castle, a politician who showed some sympathy with the railway cause in a particularly bleak period in the history of our railways, calls at Skipton on 12:49 Leeds-Carlisle displaying its local railway themed livery on 7th August 2012.
