Henschel 0-4-0T No. 125 'Thomas Edmonson', Works No. 16047 of 1918 prepares for a days running at the South Tynedale narrow gauge railway at Alston on 13th September 2012. Originally a standard gauge line built by the North Eastern Railway from Haltwhistle on tyhe Newcastle - Carlisle line in 1852, the line was finally closed by British Rail on 1st May 1976.
