After a change of locomotives at Washwood Heath, DCR-liveried Class 31/6 No. 31601 and 37602 (out of sight) double-head 5Z20, Kilmarnock to Laira, with two barrier vehicles and a re-furbished HST trailer, through Kings Norton on 22nd August 2012. The train was worked from Kilmarnock to Washwood Heath by HNRC Class 20/3 No. 20314 and No. 20311.
