Class 47/4 No's. 47840 'North Star' and sister locomotive No. 47847, both painted into liveries that were once commonplace on the Class 47 fleet, are seen powering past Kingsbury Brickworks (Warwickshire) on 19th August 2002 with train 1Z56 14:36 Birmingham New Street to Derby. This working was formed into a Virgin Train VIP special 'Cross Country Locomotive Farwell' at Birmingham after arriving at New Street station with 1M56, 08:48 Penzance to Manchester.
