21st January 2006 and an engineer's train from Carlisle-Crewe passes Kirkby Stephen Station with Class 66 No. 66073 in charge and Class 92 No. 92029 Dante (DIT). Needless to say everyone assembled was gobsmacked to see a Class 92 on the S&C. First and only time this has happened to my knowledge.
