Approaching the level crossing at Marston-on-Dove, Derbyshire on 14th June 2012 are two East Midlands Trains Class 153 diesel units No's. 153308 and 153311, working the 11:40 Derby to Crewe. The trains operating along this North Staffs route is normally a single Class 153 unit on most services, however, more recently the route has seen passenger capacity increased by the use of Class 153s coupled to one another or the substitution by a Class 156.
