Class 37 No.6940 leads 7822 Foxcote Manor into Carrog on 30 July 2011. This image of the supposedly withdrawn Manor was taken during the Llangollens 1960s gala this year and epitomises the face of the diesel dawn that was about to hit the UKs railways in the 1960s. Being only 21 myself, I can only imagine real 1960s steam!
