A pleasant summer evening at Onllwyn on 14th July 2011 shows DBS Class 66 number No. 66147 pulling slowly forward a rake of HTAs being loaded with coal bound for Aberthaw Power Station. Onllwyn Washery is to the right-background of this image near to where on hire 08523 may be seen; to the left of the 4th wagon may be seen the remains of the Neath to Brecon line which closed to passengers in 1962 and to a fragmented freight service north of Onllwyn in 1971.
