The ELR Winter Gala over the weekend of January 22 / 23 2011 ran with only 4 locos after the failure of Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 5337 before the event with the attraction of the SVR's Class 2 2-6-0 46443 as guest engine.
On January 22 the only south-facing loco was Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 seen racing across Burrs Common with the 14:35 Rawtenstall - Heywood service.
