The Branch Line Society ran its Route 66 railtour of North West freight lines between Crewe and Barrow Ramsden Dock using Class 66 66066 and Class 55 No. 55022 Royal Scots Grey working in top 'n tail mode. The train called at the Ribble Steam Railway and was noted departu=ing as it passed through the Interchange Yard; of interest just above No. 55022 is the site where the original Deltic was built during 1955.
