On two consecutive Sundays in September to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the formation of the GWR steam returned to the Looe branch in Cornwall under the name 'The Looe Valley Explorer'. On 19th September 2010 No. 37685 leads on the approach to the level crossing near to Sandplace while working the 14.55 from Liskeard to Looe while GWR 0-6-0PT number 9466 brings up the rear of the train.
