RET metro MG2 type No. 5318 stands in the rebuilt metro station at Rotterdam Centraal Station with a service for Slinge on Metro line D, formerly the blue line or Calandlijn on June 15th 2010. This is still the current northern terminus but a new link is being built to connect with the Hofplein line to-Den Haag CS recently converted to light rail. Now marketed as RandstadRail trains in the 5500 class will work through from Den Haag to Slinge.
