During steam days, firemen would toil relentlessly in all weathers to shovel coal into the ever hungry fireboxes of steam loco's on the ascent of stiff gradients such as Shap. However, with steam excursions to which the afforementiond still applies, the driver of this class No. 390 E.M.U will have a much eaiser time on the run up to the summit. This is Scout Green on 29th June 2010.
