Cowan, Tennessee is the pusher station for assisting trains over Cumberland Mountain and through the Cumberland Tunnel on the CSX Chattanooga to Nashville line. Here the two duty pushers GE CW60AC No. 693 and GE C44AC 392 leave Cowan and head south to assist a freight. The line can se seen starting to climb ahead of the leading loco.
