A sight soon to be consigned to the history books. Welbeck Colliery in the North Notts coalfield ceased coaling with it's last shift being on Tuesday 11th May 2010, 4 days prior on Friday 7th May No. 66096 is observed at Welbeck Colliery Junction on 4K48 the 1126 Ferrybridge to Welbeck Colliery. The train has arrived and run past the junction and is now setting back, propelling onto the colliery branch, once off the 'main line' it will run round it's train in a loop on the branch and then head the 4 miles towards Meden Vale and Welbeck Colliery.
