The long awaited return of WCRC Royal Scot Class 7P/6F 4-6-0 No. 46115 Scots Guardsman to the main line took place on April 27 when it undertook its main line test round the Carnforth Circle; the test train is noted at Long Preston en route to Hellifield where a stop was made for watering and checking of the locomotive.
