BR Class 02 0-4-0DM No. D2858 was one of 20 locos built between 1960 and 1961 by the Yorkshire Engine Company. Shown here is the door to the rear of the cab, with a railed veranda behind the cab; this feature was fairly unusual on British Rail locomotives. Its seen here parked in front of the Museum Hall at Swanwick Junction during the Midland Railway-Butterley Victorian Weekend. on 2nd May 2010.
