New traffic is a short term clearance of contaminated sand from a ships hold in Falmouth. The cargo has been railed away from Truro yard by DBS so that the ship can receive attention. 3000 tons is due to be sent away to Immingham in MEA wagons. The sand has been bagged and sealed to keep the elements off it. The photos were taken 17th February2010 and show No. 66024 in the yard waiting for loading to finish for the first load. This is a welcome revenue earning working West of Burngullow and is a pleasure to see. The train ran later in the evening as 6Z41 to Exeter Riverside.
