The Railway Touring Company's Cumbrian Mountain Express from Cleethorpes to Carlisle via York and Hexham was the third steam charter to visit York on 19 September 2009. The train approaches Tollerton on it's way north hauled by BR Britannia Class no. 70013 "Oliver Cromwell". The train returned via the S&C, the steam loco working as far as Hellifield.
