Ex LNER Gresley A3 Class Pacific No. 60103 'Flying Scotsman' in LNER Apple Green livery as No.4472 at Skipton. The locomotive had just hauled the southbound Cumbrian Mountain Express. Date unknown, but probably late 1970s or early 1980s.
Sadly, this scene could not now be re-created here even with the restoration of the locomotive, as the line has since been electrified and the signal box has been demolished.
