First ScotRail turbostar 170407 stands at the blocks at platform 3, Dundee 2nd Spetember, awaiting right time departure with 1T30, 0847 express service to Glasgow Queen Street. The left hand bay has recently seen HST use, with CrossCountry originating and terminating services. Dundee station retains some curious items from the not so distant past, such as coach place markers for 'Inter-city 125' and still proudly proclaims 'GNER service' for NatEx King's X and Aberdeen trains on the main departure board.
