Having arrived from the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway earlier in the week in readiness for the upcoming East Lancs Railway Summer Diesel Gala, Class 31 No. 31108 was put to use on one of the weekend diagrams, substituting for the usual steam loco. The loco is seen departing Ramsbottom on 14th June 2008 as it works the 12:40 Heywood to Rawtenstall service.
